The Cheggy Zoom combines a compact design with high processing capacity, enabling the analysis of large numbers of eggs per day. Efficient, easy to operate, and fully compliant with KAT requirements, it contributes to a more animal-friendly and future-oriented poultry sector.
The technology is completely non-invasive and works without any chemical agents.
It provides a clean, scalable and practical process, and thanks to its user-friendly design, staff can operate it with ease.
A major advantage is that the Cheggy Zoom determines the sex before the 13th day of incubation, meeting all relevant standards. In addition, all hatching eggs from a parent flock – from the start to the end of the laying period – can be utilized.
By using both the Genus Focus (MRI technology for white and brown breeds) and the Cheggy Zoom (hyperspectral for brown breeds), Pluriton contributes to the joint sector roadmap:
from 2026, all table eggs for the Dutch and German markets will come from flocks in which no male chicks are culled.
